Welcome
to the village of Oparno in the beautiful Central Bohemian Highlands.
Our
Danish holiday house lies in a peaceful garden with a beech forest as neighbour.
It
has its own entrance and lockable parking area. The building was originally a
large stone stable from 1900 and was rebuilt by five Danish families. It now
contains comfortable and tastefully furnished holiday flats of a high standard,
overlooking hilly countryside and Oparno valley with its ruined castle.
The
holiday house consists of four flats (for 4 to 6 guests), each with three rooms
and a large terrace with grill, as well as one large flat (for 6 to 10 guests)
with four rooms plus balcony.
The
flats have an entrance hall, two or three bedrooms, bathroom and toilet with
shower and a combined kitchen-living room with radio, satellite TV and exit to
terrace or balcony. The direct exit from one of the ground floor three-room
flats to the enclosed garden makes it ideal for guests with animals. Near the
holiday house is the quiet village pub-restaurant, which has both good and cheap
food and drinks.
Oparno´s
position in an area of natural beauty offers walking, cycling and riding trips
throughout the spring, summer and autumn and with skiing in the winter. There is
also good hunting, for roebuck, mouflon (wild sheep) and wild boar.
The
old historic towns of Litomerice, Terezin, Usti n/Labem and Teplice are only a
few kilometres away and Prague is only a 30-minute drive down the motorway.
